Windrush day
Today we have been celebrating Windrush Day with the children across the school participating in a range of different Windrush Day based activities. It has been a wonderful day and the children have been really engaged in their learning about Windrush and the impact it has had on Britain. They have all read age appropriate books about Windrush, with one of my favourites, Coming to England by Dame Floella Benjamin, being enjoyed across the School. Thank you to Mr Foster for organising the day.
